ENGIE North Africa is hiring a Head of BD Renewables Northern Africa. As part of team in the North Africa Region based in Casablanca, you will report to the Managing Director Renewables MENA.

 

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities 

Education

Master’s degree in Engineering, or Business School degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sales or equivalent

Experience and Skills

  • 7-10 years’ operational experience managing EPC and large contractors for industrial projects.
  • Experience in energy related projects is preferred.

 

Experience in the field of energy is a plus

 

Category Management:

      •   Market intelligence, Strategy development, SRM ( classification, performance, action plan) & Partnering, Innovative solution, Contract Mgt (implementation &monitor), Value creation, Levers, R&O, Spend analysis, Auction

 

Sourcing Management:

     •    Market survey; Supplier & Sub Contractors Identification, Selection, Qualification, Evaluation, Performing Panel, Financial KPIs; Understand & Challenge the needs, Tenders; Negotiation; Contractualization, Clauses, Penalties, Liabilities, Guaranties, TCO, Budget & Performance plan, R&O, Price Quality Delay, Claims, Cost Management, Performance, Cash management, Payment Terms, Commercial Rewards, Billing Schedule, Forwards ( basic knowledge), Indexes

 

Project Management:

    •    Project Management Plan, R&O, Early involvement, Strategy development, Stakeholders Management, Financing, time schedule , Managing the scope of the project

 

CSR & Sustainability Management:

   •     Survey, Assessment, Control, Implementation & Mitigation plans, Knowledge & Expertise, CO2, Inclusive sourcing, Due Diligence, Regulatory, Embargo, Risk Mgt (ERM)

 

Process & Compliance & Digital:

  •     Policies, Governance, Rules, Processes, Tools (incl ERP & P2P process), KPIs, Digital Transformation, Performance, Expertise in excel and power BI, smart data analysis,  etc

 

Technical, Cost value engineer :

  •    Perform the shadow calculation, ability to challenge the technical solution and propose alternative one

 

Logistic & Supply Chain

 •    Shipment/Transport Management; documentation (Tech/Import/Export), Delivery scheduling, Customs, Logistic provider Management, Reception

 

Communication and working Relationship:

Internal

•    Procurement Team AMEA, in office and in entities, country.

•    Group category managers, as required.

•    Legal and AIFA teams in house, all GBUs.

•    GBU(s): Project Managers, Business Development, Managers, Technical Teams

External

•    Suppliers, Technical and H&S Teams, End Clients, partners, consultants
