Missions :
You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing effective HSE management systems. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to adapt to dynamic work environments.
Activities :
- Collecting and reporting Health, Safety and Environment performance indicators: follow-up with sites, data collection, analysis and follow-up on OMEGA and SYGMA tools.
- Supporting the HSE MANAGER ENA to deploy the ENGIE HSE Rules and standards on ENA sites.
- Performing conjointly with the HSE Manager ENA regular HSE inspections and audits on ENA sites.
- Leading HSE training sessions with the HSE Manager to sites Managers.
- Reviewing and approving Site Safety Management System : instructions, operating modes, procedures, Risk Register.
- Ensuring Incident Investigation are done according to the ENA requirements.
- Providing HSE regulatory watch for Morocco and Senegal.
- Optimizing HSE communication (visual, digital and analogic) and contributing to the development of ENGIE One Safety Culture Program.
- Providing support in tender and/or project preparation phases.
Communication And Working Relationships :
Internal: Assets, Regional Hub, Corporate, All Departments (BD, Legal, HR, Communication,CSR, Finance, ETSG, etc.)
External : Technical and H&S Teams, partners and consultants
Profile:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HSE roles within the energy industry, with a focus on renewable energy and/or desalination projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey HSE concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple
Languages :
Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
