Job responsibilities:
- Support the construction of Data Centers from design, testing, commissioning, installation and delivery.
- Collaborate with Engineers to test, validate, install, evaluate the performance of electrical systems as per the design specification and to calibrate based on performance models.
- Conducting inspections to check the functionality, performance, and safety of the data center systems and equipment.
- Preparing test plans, procedures, and reports to document the testing and commissioning activities.
- Coordinating and communicating with the project team, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure the timely and quality completion of the testing and commissioning work.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects that arise during the testing and commissioning process.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after project handover.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in data center testing and commissioning or a similar role.
- Knowledge and skills in data center systems and equipment, such as server, storage, network, power, cooling, fire protection and security.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. achelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Systems, Systems Engineering or related field).
- Basic understanding of infrastructure systems (power generation for renewable energy or electrical systems for data centers)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
