Context:
Following ACPR audit mission performed in 2023, the creation of a Permanent Supervision team was decided. This team, directly reporting to EGM CRO, shall be composed of two members. Its main mission is to meet ACPR requirements in terms of permanent supervision while leveraging on this work to improve the efficiency of the processes.
Role:
The Permanent supervision Officer’s daily responsibilities will consist in contributing to the necessary works to achieve the main missions of the Permanent Supervision department with a high level of autonomy and a strong empowerment. In particular:
- Definition and monitoring of points of control on the production of the main EGM Risk indicators.
- Design of a quality control checks framework, analysis of the deteriorations observed and support in the design of the remediation actions.
- Contribution to the strengthening of the relationships between the teams part of common processes (inside and outside EC Risk, such as IT and FO) to improve efficiency and avoid potential overlaps or uncovered topics.
- Support of the risk teams in their relationships with control functions and bodies (internal and external).
- Definition of a high-level risk and process cartography.
The successful completion of these tasks requires the building of a constructive relationship with EGM other control functions, and all other stakeholders (such as IT and FO teams, EGM Management,…).

- Strong analytical skills and good understanding of the different components of EGM risks.
- Ability to take into account multiple components and understand complex topics.
- Ability to synthesis and distinguish the essential points.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Result-oriented and able to manage stress.
- Ability to quickly ramp-up on new topics
Education and professional background:
- Master degree in Business or Engineering
- Experience of at least 5 years in a business, finance, audit or risk function, ideally in an energy management or trading environment. Good knowledge of EGM business processes and controls
Languages:
- Fluent in English Oral/Written and French Oral/Written
Travels:
- Occasionally to Brussels or other EGM locations
