Context:

The CTM team (Contract and Transaction Management) is overseeing the maintenance and evolution of the handful of Trading systems (Meteor, Sungard Zainet, Orchestrade, …) that allow GEMS to partake in all kinds of Market activities.

Within CTM, Deal & Risk Management support team is in charge of supporting Meteor & Orchestrade (target system) with their satellite components. Support is covering both Business & technical support from deal booking to various batch reporting.

Role: Team Leader 

Production Support Team lead :

• Lead Production Support team (Paris & Brussels) in charge of the Level 1 and Level 2 support on GEMs trade booking applications (Meteor and Orchestrade).
• Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, DBA and application teams.
• Provide regular status reports to management on application status and other metrics.
• Collaborate with management to improve and customize reports related to production support.
• Prioritize issues raised and resolve them accordingly.
• Coordinate escalation and resolution of major service issues.
• Keep the team motivated and work out plan for them based on their career aspirations
• Identify any skill gaps in the team and plan for proactively closing the gaps through internal/external training as needed
• Push the team operating model to ensure a global coverage is ensured across Europe & APAC regions or any other region that might integrates the landscape in the future
• Work with the team to develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents
• Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind.

Education and professional background:

• Master degree in engineering with a proven specialty in IT  or equivalent
• 5+ years of overall experience in production support role in investment banking / trading room environment, ideally with knowledge on energy trading markets .

Languages:

Mandatory :

• Fluent English as a working language
• Fluent French is mandatory
•  

Travels:

Occasional travels to Brussels are expected

Potential travels to Singapore might be asked.
