Context :

Together BP Client & BP Downstream are developing a digital solution to improve their customer relationship and secure all its operational processes. We want to speed up the deployment of this tool, in this context your role consists of.

 

Your Contribution

Your missions:

 

  • You will optimally structure the portfolio representation to clearly track and report on operational performance and risk factors
  • You will ensure option hedging strategies are tested to maximize PnL margin (based on price/volume effects)
  • You will be involved in the various risk pricing models (flexibility, decorrelation, balancing, correlated log normal variables, Bachelier model) and be able to propose state-of-the-art solutions
  • You will challenge models, processes and tools to propose improvements

 

  • You will continuously monitor the Marked to Market (MtM) portfolio and explain its results and performance
  • You will develop tactical tools to quickly display our MtM, price and volume exposures
  • You will support the operational teams in the implementation of these technical solutions by performing tests before putting them into production

 

 

About YOU

 

Background & Professional expériences :

  • You are preparing a Master's degree, engineering school or business school
  • If you have experience in several aspects of sales portfolio management, trading, finance or similar fields, this is appreciated

  • You have structuring and quantitative skills and know how to deal with clients
  • ability to manage complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • You have a good understanding of trading, portfolio and risk management activities
  • You have a high level of numeracy, analytical and quantitative skills, combined with a practical approach
  • You are comfortable with object-oriented programming
  • You have a good knowledge of Python 3.7 (Numpy, Pandas, Sklearn, Seaborn) and Excel VBA
  • You have good experience using Jupyter Notebook, Pycharm and GitHub
  • You are familiar with the use of APIs​​​​​​​
