Context:

Within S&EM, the business platform Gas Development (GASDEVE) represents a front to back staff of 50+ people located in Paris, Bucharest, Madrid and Berlin. We have 4 main missions :

  • Grow new gas markets

We explore and develop gas markets outside of the usual regions in Western Europe, opening up new opportunities

  • Help secure Europe’s gas supply

We contribute to solving the gas supply gap in Europe, making sure energy is available when and where it’s needed

  • Bring flexibility to energy systems

We provide smart solutions that help balance supply and demand in gas and electricity markets

  • Develop Renewable and Low-carbon Gases

We support the development of new decarbonized energies, like biomethane, hydrogen and carbon capture utilization & storage (CCUS) across Europe.

As part of our mission to develop low-carbon gases, we have set up a “Low-Carbon Gas” team dedicated to CCUS business development in Europe. This team is:

  • Designing, negotiating and contracting new services to help industries handle their captured CO₂
  • Connecting industrial capture sites with CO2 permanent storage sites both inland and offshore
  • Enabling the implementation in Europe of new CO2 infrastructures

To achieve this ambitions, GAS Development needs a new CO2 Business support Intern.
