Tractebel is organised as a Business Unit (BU) of the Engie Group. Tractebel generates 750MEUR revenues a year and employs 6000 employees in ~70 countries. It has organised the conduct of its business in 5 Business Areas (BA’s), of which 3 have a Business-oriented scope (Gas Energy & Nuclear, Infrastructure Water & Environment, Data centers) and two have a Geographic-oriented scope (India Middle East and Australia and Brazil, Chile and Canada). It has organised the conduct of its Support functions in end to end accountability across the various BA’s and geographies.
Corporate BU is the coordinating and consolidating level of the Tractebel organisation.

Requirements:
- Analyse, monitor and report actual structure cost performance for the BU Tractebel on a monthly basis, ensuring alignment with yearly objectives and informed evolution from previous periods (ie. Actuals vs. Budget and Actuals vs. Previous Period analysis in volume, price, other effects…). Propose corrective actions necessary to achieve yearly objectives & animate the generation of action plans (including cost reduction initiatives / rationalisations). Ensure such plan is formalized and follow up and provide up to date status to management.
- Support in the elaboration and analysis of the various structure costs related forecasting exercises, in particular in annual budget and Medium-Term Plan (MTP). Mainly through animating the dialog with the Business Areas & Support Functions. challenging and synthetizing financial and operational information and assisting in the definition of proposed target for the Business Unit (BU).
- Challenging and synthetizing financial information pertaining to structure costs and assisting in the definition of proposed target for the Business Unit (BU).
- Contribute to the reporting and communication of the synthesis of actual results and budget/MTP of the Business Unit (BU) toward its own Management (SF leaders, BA leaders, financial leadership, Excom) and the Engie Group according to respective requirements.
- Ensure coherence and quality of actuals and forecast data as well as compliance with internal financial policies and external reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- Ensure intercompany transactions related to structure costs quality within Tractebel and with ENGIE Group is accurate, reliable and well-coordinated within Tractebel and with ENGIE Group.
- Establish structure costs reinvoicing (accounting) and allocation (analytical) and ensure proper & timely execution in systems and invoicing.
- Animate a driver-based approach dialog with the BA’s and SF’s. Follow-up of financial KFI's, operational KPIs and performance ratios for each service lines.
- Be the owner of the Structure cost dashboard and ensure its data quality (Enforce quality and reasonability tests and controls and follow up)
- Be the owner of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) integrity for Structure costs. Ensure and quality of its data input and enforce strict governance.
- Propose continuous improvement in the processes, templates, governance and KPIs in the management of Structure costs. Ensure execution of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment and transparency.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses upon request from management.
- Participate to animation to the community and prepare ad-hoc training materials.
Experience:
- University degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or Management Sciences, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role (ideally with relevant experience at an Audit firm and/or controlling department within industrial group)
- Proficient active knowledge of French and English; Dutch is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Engineering business is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in office tools (MS Office), particularly Excel, and experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent organizational, accuracy, and rigor skills.
- Capable of working under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading and managing budgeting, reporting and consolidation processes in a multi-BA environment and with international teams team is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrating seamlessly into multidisciplinary teams; dynamic and proactive in taking initiatives.
- Assertive with the ability to clearly and firmly communicate your point of view in case of differing opinions.
