Your mission  

As a Project Engineer-Market Consultancy in our Energy Consultancy team at Tractebel, you contribute to the development of large-scale energy projects, delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions. Our team focuses on designing and optimizing energy infrastructure, ensuring reliability, sustainability, and technical excellence to support the transition to a cleaner and more resilient energy future.

Your key responsibilities  

• You develop market integration models using dedicated software tools such as POWERSIM.
• You perform cost-benefit analyses for feasibility studies in the energy field.
• You bring economic expertise to power system projects, both within the Romanian grid and international power networks.
• You conduct financial assessments for energy-related projects.

We would love to hear from people with    

• Technical background: University “Politehnica” Bucharest - Power Engineering Faculty, Engineering Economics or similar;
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in power system consultancy projects;
• Good knowledge of a software tool dedicated to power systems simulations;
• Knowledge of specific electricity market simulation tool such as POWERSIM represents an advantage;
• Production cost for electricity generation per type of generations represents an advantage;
• Very good knowledge of MS Office package;
• English proficiency;
• Knowledge of French represents an advantage;
• Good communication skills – both written and oral;
• Ability to work efficiently in an international environment;
• Organizational skills;
• Problem solver, flexible.
