As a Master Data Steward within our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance organization, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and governance of finance master data across ERP systems and financial applications. You will collaborate with global stakeholders, support business operations, and contribute to projects that drive process excellence.

What You'll Do

As a Master Data Steward, you will:

Master Data Management

• Manage the creation and maintenance of Finance Master Data in SAP MDG and backend systems.
• Handle Business Partner, Trading Partner, Internal Business Partner, and Controlling Objects master data.
• Perform IBAN validations and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Support Finance applications such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BPC, Baseware, HighRadius, and other finance satellite systems.
• Assist IT teams in resolving master data-related incidents.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze operational activities and prepare performance reports and lessons learned (REX).
• Identify process improvements and propose solutions to increase efficiency and data quality.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), documentation, and training materials.
• Promote best practices and support change management initiatives.
• Ensure accurate task tracking and timesheet reporting to support capacity planning.

Project Support

• Participate in cross-functional projects, including data migration and system rollout initiatives.
• Contribute your expertise to finance transformation and continuous improvement programs as requested.

What We're Looking For

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A combination of Finance and IT knowledge is highly valued.

Experience

• Up to 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with SAP Master Data Management (MDG and Backend), particularly Business Partners and Controlling Objects.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO modules (user level or above).
• Experience in rollout or implementation projects is considered an advantage.
• Finance background (Accounting or Controlling) is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of SAP MDG and ERP environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to document requirements and processes clearly.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
