What you will do:

As part of the launch of a new service center in Romania, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead to build, manage and develop our team of Operation Engineers and Experts based in Romania. That person will act as the primary liaison between the Romanian technical resources and the Central-based IT teams based in France and Belgium. They will be responsible for managing local operations, ensuring high service quality, and maintaining smooth communication between the locations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of Workplace support technicians.
  • Coordinate daily activities with Central-based IT teams.
  • Act as a local point of contact for HR-related topics (leave, performance reviews, training, etc.).
  • Ensure the recruitment process while continuously adapting to new and evolving needs.
  • Foster a strong, collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence, ensuring alignment with the governance established in Paris/Brussels.
  • Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of services delivered by the local team.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Central IT management team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with IT support services.
  • Participate in steering committees and operational reviews.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose corrective action plans.

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills: 

  • Minimum 5 years in IT support roles, including at least 2 years in a coordination or team lead position.
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace IT environments (Windows, Office 365, asset management, ticketing tools, etc.).
  • Good understanding of multi-site IT support challenges.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); French is a strong asset.
