Your Mission

As a Cost Estimator Engineer in our Energy team at Tractebel, you will play a crucial role in the development of large-scale energy projects. You will prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities to support successful project delivery and informed decision-making.

Your key responsibilities

• You prepare technical-economic estimates and cost breakdowns for large energy projects
• You use computer-based estimation tools, such as WinDev or similar software to build cost structures.
• You collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand technical requirements and translate them into accurate cost evaluations.
• You apply relevant national standards, norms and regulations for cost estimation in the energy/ infrastructure sector.
• You support the project team by sharing expertise and providing input to project planning and financial risk analysis.

We would love to hear from people with

• Engineering or technical background.
• Experience in cost estimation for energy or infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of cost norms and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with estimation software (WinDev or similar tools).
• Strong command of MS Office.
• Proficiency in English.
