What you will do:

  • The Application Support Specialist is primarily responsible for enabling the effective and efficient use of the SEM tooling environment.
  • Collaborates closely with the Information Systems (IS) team, Front and Back Office teams, and central IT support teams in Paris and Brussels to ensure seamless system operations and user support.
  • Maintains, troubleshoots, and provides ongoing technical support for the full suite of SEM tools.
  • Contributes to shared code repositories and transversal projects.
  • Develops and supports full-stack solutions to meet business and operational needs.
  • Performs validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes.
  • Enhances reporting capabilities and supports process automation initiatives.
  • Improves monitoring, operational efficiency, and overall system performance.

 

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Master degree in IT, Engineering or Science;
  • Ability to write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, batch or other scripting languages;
  • Experience with python programming language;
  • English full professional proficiency;
  • Ability to streamline and to prioritize in an agile mode;
  • Ability to work on local transversal topics in a complex environment;
  • Communication Skills: Being able to effectively communicate with both IT oriented colleagues and business oriented colleagues in order to find the best possible solutions;
  • Decision-Making Ability: They should have the ability to make quick, informed decisions under high-pressure situations.
  • Client oriented mindset;
  • Team work: Being able to foster a collaborative environment and work effectively in a team.

 

 

Represents advantage:

  • Knowledge in the energy market (RES, BESS, etc.);
  • Experience with C#.
  • Experience in a multicultural/ international environment;
  • Knowledge of French.
