Context

Are you ready to be at the heart of the renewable energy revolution in Northwestern Europe? We're seeking a highly motivated, data and detail-oriented Renewable Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team in Brussels, Belgium. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure operational excellence across our contract-to-market chain, directly contributing to a sustainable future.

This isn't just about managing data; it's about driving efficiency, ensuring accuracy, and supporting critical real-time trading decisions that power our renewable assets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a meticulous eye for detail, and are passionate about leveraging technology to optimize operations, this is the role for you!

Your Mission

As a Renewable Operations Manager, you will:

  • Navigate complexity: Master the diverse landscape of renewable energy contracts, ensuring precise representation within our trading systems and tools.
  • Ensure data integrity: Own the full data lifecycle — from contract setup to reporting — guaranteeing accuracy, reliability, and consistency across front-to-back operations.
  • Drive operational excellence: Support stakeholders under tight deadlines with real-time problem solving and high reactivity.
  • Lead process innovation: Identify automation opportunities, propose improvements, and collaborate with IT teams to enhance data workflows and system robustness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Origination, Trading, Dispatch, etc.) and external parties (park owners, service providers) to ensure flawless operational integration.
  • Ensure compliance: Manage administrative registrations and obligations in Germany and/or France, ensuring full regulatory alignment.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a data-intensive operational environment, ideally within energy trading, renewables, or financial markets.
  • Excellent command of data management practices and system-based workflows.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with trading systems and operational data pipelines.
  • Ability to lead or support automation and process improvement projects.
  • Understanding of renewable energy market mechanisms and regulatory frameworks (Germany/France is a plus).

Soft skills

  • Rigorous and methodical, with a focus on operational reliability.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented under time pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business perspectives.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams.
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and continuously improve processes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in an operational or analytical role.
