Starting January 1, 2026, we will establish a single BeNeLux HR platform with three cross-country Centers of Expertise (Compensation &Benefit, Processes organization & Systems, and People Development & DEI).

These Centers of Expertise report to the Chief HR Officer Belgium and BeNeLux Platform Lead and to the Group Vice President of the Center of Expertise.

 

For the Center of Expertise in HR Processes Organization & Systems (POS), we are looking for a Head of HR Processes Organization & Systems (F/M/X) who will take on a dual role being both Head of POS for Belgium and Platform Lead for this center of expertise in the BeNeLux.

 

As most of the target population is based in Belgium, you’ll be expected to work from Brussels most of the time, with some travel to the Netherlands.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Head of HR Processes Organization & Systems ENGIE Belgium

 

HR processes and HR Transformation

  • Champion the compliant deployment of Group POS standards. Conduct annual compliance reviews, ensure other Group HR standards (Talent, Compensation and Benefits, etc.) are applied, and co-develop corrective actions for gaps.
  • Support the formalization of local HR processes through standardized tools (SOPs, Handbooks, etc), while promoting continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to optimize quality, speed, and cost control.
  • Under the responsibility of the Country Chief HR Officer, lead internal cntrol for the HR function (2nd line of defence), by driving the Group annual campaign and ensuring local HR accountability over process controls.
  • Relay HR POS transformation projects initiated by the Group (HR Target operation model, HR organization,…) and support local HR teams in change management.

 

HR Data Quality & Systems

  • Drive continuous improvement in HR data quality: ensure the reliability, completeness, and consistency of HR data in Group systems (e.g., Success Factors), using monitoring and process mining tools (Visier, PowerBI, Celonis, etc.) for continuous tracking.
  • Head positions management (creation, modification, inactivation) according to POS standards, in coordination with stakeholders (HR business partners, Finance, IT), and ensure regular updates of the HR organization in systems.
  • Partner with POS and Data & Insights teams across platform countries to analyze data, resolve exceptions, and improve processes using dashboards and digital tools.
  • Lead the rollout and adoption of digital HR tools in line with Group standards, act as HR Information Systems subject matter expert, and manage incidents, inquiries, and requests for process or system enhancements.

 

HR Performance & People Insights

  • Monitor HR performance indicators at the local level.
  • Produce People Insights analyses to support HR decision-making.
  • Contribute to local Business Reviews by providing HR Business Partners with relevant and necessary indicators.
  • Lead the HR budget and MTP processes, ensuring expense control and alignment with strategic and operational priorities.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Platform Lead of HR Processes Organization & Systems BeNeLux

 

  • Manage all POS teams within the platform and ensure adequate coverage of POS responsibilities in each country, through effective organization , skills development and, when needed, resource mutualization across the platform.
  • Hold accountability for ways of working across all POS teams in the platform.
  • Serve as the voice and reference for POS within the platform HR leadership team to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Represent the platform in the Group POS Leadership Team, relays country needs, and helps shape Group processes to reflect both global and local realities.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across countries to harmonize development efforts and foster best practices.
  • Is accountable for POS performance and continuous improvement across all countries within the platform.

 

YOUR PROFILE as Head of HR Processes Organization & Systems and Platform Lead

 

  • Proven experience in HR operations as an HR Leader or Business/Functional Leader within international and matrix environment.
  • Proficient in Information Systems, data management, analytics and process tracking tools.
  • Ability to lead transformation projects and support change.
  • Strong collaboration skills, advisory posture, and ability to work across networks (local / platform / Group).
  • Fluent in English.
