YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Green Power Structurer

The Green Power Structuring & Origination desk is part of the structured power commercial activities within the Business Platform Power Trading & Commercial operating across the full power value chain in Northwest Europe.

The main missions of the Green Power Structuring & Origination desk are developing green power solutions and lasting commercial relationships to serve our downstream clients in their energy transition.

Being part of a team of 7 members (Originators, Structurers & Contract managers)  and reporting to the Head of Green Power Structuring & Origination , you will primarily cover the German market and operate at the crossroads of commercial negotiation, market expertise, and renewable energy innovation :

• Act as a core deal team member and structuring lead, in close collaboration with origination, legal and trading teams.
• Develop and implement innovative green power solutions for both upstream (developers) and downstream (clients).
• Structure complex transactions such as PPAs, corporate PPAs and tailored energy products.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (risk, finance, back office, operations) throughout the deal structuring and approval process.
• Monitor market developments, regulatory changes and emerging opportunities in the power sector.
• Identify and develop new value creation opportunities for ENGIE and its clients.
• Improve pricing models, structuring methodologies and contract templates.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, risk policies and regulatory frameworks.

YOUR PROFILE * as Green Power Structurer

• Master’s degree in quantitative field (engineering, finance, economics, etc.)
• 5 –10 years of experience in the energy sector and in structuring complex transactions.
• Strong knowledge of European power markets, especially France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany with solid understanding of power market dynamics and renewable energy trends
• Strong analytical and modelling/ coding capabilities ( SQL/ Python tools…, data/ AI analytics ..)
• Result-oriented with a strong commercial mindset (P&L focus)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex environments
• Clear and structured communication skills ; and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Fluent in English , German is a strong plus
