As part of ENGIE’s continued growth and strategic ambition, we are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our Corporate AIFA (Acquisitions, Investments, and Financial Advisory) team.
This position, based in Brussels, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial initiatives at Group level. Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate AIFA, you will take on a mix of centralized responsibilities and provide support on strategic projects across the organization.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Financial Analyst (M/F/X)

  • Contribute to AIFA’s global community by supporting methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Perform macroeconomic analysis and translate insights into investment strategies.
  •  Monitor and report on key investment KPIs and funding structures.
  •  Lead strategic analyses for top management, including asset impairment and investment reviews.
  • Promote and support the use of AIFA’s digital tools and enhance global templates for KPI reporting and IFRS impact analysis.
  • Build robust Excel-based financial models and analyze key valuation drivers in collaboration with Business Development, Finance, and Tax teams.
  • Evaluate financial and accounting impacts and support the preparation of investment files for the Investment Committee.

YOUR PROFILE as Financial Analyst (M/F/X)

  • Master’s degree engineering school, business school, or university. CFA or Chartered Accountant is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Development, Project Finance, M&A, Strategy Consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in macro- and microeconomics.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and financial valuation skills (e.g., CAPM).
  • Familiarity with the energy sector and corporate finance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments and remains composed and flexible under pressure.
  • Fluent in English; a good command of French or Dutch.
