Join ENGIE’s Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (AIFA) team, a high-performing and inclusive hub at the core of the Group’s most strategic investments and transactions. Operating in a fast-paced environment, AIFA plays a key role in shaping ENGIE’s future across all business lines.

As Financial Advisor for Western Europe, you will drive complex financial analyses, valuations, structuring, and project financing, supporting strategic initiatives across Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, and Iberia. The role offers strong exposure to senior leadership at both European and Group levels, in a stimulating environment that empowers impact and innovation.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Financial Advisor (M/F/X)

  • Lead financial analysis and valuation for investments/divestments, advising on economic viability, risk/reward, and compliance with AIFA methodologies.
  • Advise on risk allocation and financial structuring, including mitigation strategies, tax structuring, hedging, and bankability.
  • Support project development by providing insights on commercial, financial, and strategic aspects, ensuring project selectivity and alignment.
  • Drive capital structuring and financing execution, leveraging deep knowledge of banking and capital markets, including project finance with local/international lenders.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with internal and external parties (lenders, advisors, consultants) to ensure timely transaction execution.

 

YOUR PROFILE as Financial Advisor (M/F/X)

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Economics and/or professional qualification (CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent), with 5–7 years of experience in Project Finance, M&A, Strategy Consulting, or Business Development.
  • Proven ability to build and interpret complex Excel-based financial models; deep understanding of valuation methodologies, investment analysis, and business planning.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills; capable of clearly communicating complex financial topics to senior stakeholders and committees.
  • Solid grasp of accounting, tax structuring, and market dynamics; experience in structuring and closing financing and M&A transactions.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, team-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, engaging attitude.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
