YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Electrical Engineer

 

  • Provide electrical engineering expertise across Renewable Energy and BESS projects to enhance asset performance, maximise availability, and optimise costs across the Benelux portfolio.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve technical standards, specifications, and electrical requirements applicable to renewable energy projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during development, engineering, tendering, and construction phases, providing technical guidance and contributing to the evaluation of technical solutions and contractor proposals.
  • Monitor the quality and compliance of electrical works on site, support commissioning activities, and help ensure high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Act as a trusted technical reference for complex electrical challenges arising during construction and operational phases, contributing to the identification of effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and industry partners while keeping abreast of technological developments and emerging market trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, sharing best practices, and contributing to safer, more efficient, and cost-effective future projects.

YOUR PROFILE * as Electrical Engineer 

 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a first professional experience in an electrical project environment.
  • Strong interest in electrical engineering and renewable energy technologies, including battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Solid understanding of electrical infrastructure, such as high-voltage equipment, substations, and renewable energy assets.
  • Eagerness to continuously develop technical expertise and contribute to business and operational improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and build constructive stakeholder relationships.
  • Proactive communicator who takes initiative and contributes ideas to drive positive outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate activities efficiently.
  • Fluency in French and/or Dutch, and professional proficiency in English
  • You always take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
