Your mission

As an Electrical Engineer in our GEN department, you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in the design and delivery of high-voltage substation projects that meet the highest technical and safety standards for grid operators. 

Your key responsibilities   
 
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of high-voltage substation projects, ensuring they meet all technical, safety, and regulatory standards. Your main tasks will include:

• Conducting technical studies and design for HV/HVDC substations.
• Managing project execution phases including engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration
• Acting as a key interface with clients and grid operators, ensuring alignment with their requirements.

 
We would love to hear from people with  

• A degree in electrical engineering or electrotechnics. 
• Proven experience in high-voltage networks (HV/HVDC – 63 kV to 400 kV).
• Strong knowledge of European standards (IEC, lEtt, etc.).
• Familiarity with the requirements of Belgian and/or international grid operators (Elia, RTE, TenneT…).
• Fluency in French or Dutch, with professional proficiency in English.
