Lead Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)

The Lead Portfolio Manager is responsible for the pricing, risk management, and financial performance of ENGIE’s German supply portfolio. The role ensures a profitable, risk‑controlled, and future‑ready energy supply business, integrating renewable power, green gas, PPAs, and structured products for large B2B and industrial customers. Acting as a senior expert and leader, the role bridges Trading, Origination, Operations, and Management to support ENGIE’s energy transition strategy in Germany.

ACT NOW! – Your responsibilities:

• Own portfolio representation, costing, pricing for BP Germany, ensure accurate forecasting, valuation, and invoicing representation of the supply portfolio – responsibility on the front to back processes
• P&L responsibility
• Define, implement, and monitor the local risk mandate in line with SEM Group standards
• Manage market, volume, shape, and climate risks, including hedging strategies with SEMs trading desks
• Co-Lead and develop the Supply Portfolio Management team, fostering expertise and innovation
• Drive the use of digital tools, data quality, and automation to enhance portfolio performance
• Act as a senior sparring partner to BP Germany leadership on risk appetite, strategy, and commercial decisions

Your profile:

• Strong experience in energy portfolio management, risk management, or energy trading
• Solid knowledge of power and gas markets, including PPAs and renewable integration
• Proven ability to balance commercial growth with disciplined risk management
• Experience working in cross‑functional and matrix organizations
• Strong analytical, data, financial, and decision‑making skills
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams and drive change
• Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
