Job Description

 

Responsibilities

 

To support efficiently the expansion of Tractebel Engineering in Europe, Middle-East and Africa, and bring the highest standard of consulting services to ENGIE Impact’s clients we are looking for a new colleague.

 

As a Consultant, you are involved in multiple projects at a time, under the leadership of a project manager or senior expert. You will work particularly with clients in the RIMO segment and you will actively participate to the reputation of ENGIE Impact by your personal involvement in these projects.

 

This team has a world class expertise in Financial Analysis and Economics of power sector projects and is the centre of excellence of the ENGIE Group for all related topics.

 

You will be more particularly in charge of:

 

Provide advisory services leveraging ENGIE Impact’s methods, tools, and assets to design and deliver outcome to our clients:

  • Creation and development of financial models for infrastructure projects
  • Consulting in the field of (feed-in) tariff analysis and models / support mechanisms for renewable energies
  • Consulting in project financing and project development
  • Advisory in EPC contract negotiations,. PPA structing and Contract-for-Difference
  • Supporting financial due diligence and feasibility assessments
  • Support in economic analyses in consulting projects for infrastructure planning
  • Collaboration in developing business plans, financial due diligence
  • Continuous development of existing models
  • Collect and structure data/information from various sources
  • Produce convincing analyses and visualization of study results

 

Provide high level institutional and regulatory recommendations (for increased Private Sector participation in Renewable Energy developments)

 

Participate actively to business and organization development

  • Contribute to the realization of proposals
  • Support content development, asset creation, and business development efforts

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a Master degree in Economics, Finance, Economic engineering, Mathematics, MBA, or similar
  • More than 5 years in power projects or utilities; as consultant, investor or financier of infrastructure projects
  • You master complex financial models and are capable to adapt them based on client’s project’s needs
  • You are fluent in English and French, German or Arabic speaking is an advantage
  • You have a deep understanding of energy technologies and their economic fundamentals
  • Ideally experience in innovative technologies such as smart grids, sector coupling, energy storage, hydrogen, energy trading or similar
  • Experience in presenting and defending results to clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent command of MS Office suite (in particular MS Excel)
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a wider team
  • You are dynamic, creative, interested by high level expertise and team work
  • You are geographically mobile for short or mid-term missions all over the world.
