Maintenance Technician I - Solar Park

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our Solar Park in Barreiras, Bahia, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the plant’s availability, safety, and operational efficiency, maintaining the equipment and systems that generate renewable energy for thousands of people.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational continuity, safety, and availability of solar power plants.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar plant equipment and systems.
  • Maintain and preserve operational and maintenance records, ensuring technical documentation remains up to date.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor improvements in operational, environmental, and safety processes.
  • Analyze, create, and review regulatory and technical documentation related to the area of responsibility.
  • Comply with and promote Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management standards.
  • Support the team in resolving technical issues in the field with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electromechanics, or Electronics, with an active CFT registration.
  • Experience in photovoltaic solar power plants and strong knowledge of solar energy equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and occupational health and safety standards (NR-10).
  • Experience with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
  • Intermediate ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process flow diagrams.
  • Valid Category B driver’s license.
  • Proactive and dynamic profile, with flexibility to adapt to changing routines and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Preferred qualifications: experience with Ingeteam inverters and basic English skills.
