Buyer (f/m)
Location: Warsaw
ENGIE Services Sp. z o.o. is part of the international ENGIE Group – a global leader in the energy transition. Due to the expansion of our Procurement team, we are looking for a Buyer responsible for procurement in the areas of Facility Management, technical building installations, and indirect spend categories.
Responsibilities:
- Managing assigned procurement categories.
- Leading end-to-end sourcing projects.
- Preparing supplier market analyses and business recommendations.
- Negotiating commercial terms and framework agreements.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to define procurement needs.
- Developing and implementing category strategies.
- Managing supplier relationships and supplier risk.
- Monitoring savings delivery and KPI performance.
- Ensuring compliance of procurement processes with ENGIE policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Logistics, Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within Facility Management, technical installations, or the energy sector.
- Experience in tender management, contract negotiations, and RFQ/RFP/RFI processes.
- Ability to analyze spend, identify savings opportunities, and evaluate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Experience in developing procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Experience in managing supplier KPIs and implementing corrective actions.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Independence and goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum B2 level.
