SOD & SAP Authorization Specialist – Internal Controls Finance

At ENGIE, we believe the energy transition starts with the right people in the right roles. Within our Global Business Support (GBS) entity, we build the foundations that keep the Group running securely and efficiently. We are looking for a specialist who will safeguard access controls and ensure compliance across our financial systems — a critical mission that directly supports ENGIE's performance and integrity.

You will join GBS Finance, a team dedicated to delivering accounting expertise, process optimization, and transversal finance tools. Reporting to the Functional Manager for Authorizations & My Portal, you will manage Segregation of Duties (SOD) and SAP authorizations, contributing to a secure and compliant environment for the entire Group.

What You'll Do

- Manage authorization requests and My Portal tickets from operational teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain and update SAP authorization roles by analyzing the SOD matrix, resolving conflicts, and proposing solutions.
- Conduct monthly SOD reviews using SAP GRC across SAP and other confirmed systems.
- Serve as the primary contact for IT teams and business stakeholders on all authorization-related matters.
- Perform IT controls linked to the ENGIE program (Income ITM6) across multiple ERPs including Rapsodie, Vesta, and GET.
- Implement, monitor, and document audit and compliance procedures in line with Group directives.
- Participate in the RUN Integration of SAP projects, especially GET.
- Contribute to scope extensions or tooling projects.
- Support the evolution of the Authorizations process and documentation.
- Develop cross-knowledge to provide backup support to other teams.
- Review personas and profiles defined by Group governance, identify gaps versus operational reality, and recommend role evolutions.

What You Bring

- Master's degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in SAP authorizations, SOD, or internal controls.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and HANA authorization concepts and SAP GRC.
- Solid understanding of Finance business processes (Record-to-Report, Asset, Treasury, Controlling).
- Proven experience in SOD risk remediation projects.
- Professional proficiency in both French (B2 minimum, critical) and English (B2 minimum).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and synthesis skills with the ability to manage multiple topics autonomously.

What We Offer

- A diverse range of missions spanning SAP, GRC, internal controls, and cross-functional projects.
- Stimulating work at the heart of Group-wide compliance and digital transformation initiatives.
- A collaborative and friendly work environment within a supportive, expert team.
- Flexibility and work-life balance through adaptable working arrangements.
