We are looking for a Purchase Order and Invoice Specialist to join our P2P-T&E unit within ENGIE IT Operations. In this role, you will be at the heart of our Procure to Pay processes, ensuring seamless order management and contributing directly to the operational excellence that powers our mission.
What You'll Do
- Manage and track purchase requisitions, including the entry of specific requisitions for time-and-materials contracts
- Monitor and correct purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement guidelines
- Oversee receipt management and empower operational staff to enter their own receipts autonomously
- Track invoice reconciliations and payments, producing regular monitoring reports for stakeholders
- Coordinate supplier reminders in collaboration with GBS Procurement, GBS Finance, and ENGIE IT teams
- Contribute to Finance and HR processes by delivering timely and accurate data as required
- Identify opportunities to optimize administrative workflows and propose improvements
What You Bring
- Higher education degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, or procurement
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a purchasing department, accounting team, or contract management role
- Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba, Basware, SAP S4/HANA (MM, PA, FI-CO), ServiceNow, and MS Office 365
- Analytical mindset with a genuine drive to streamline and improve processes
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- High standards of ethics, rigor, and autonomy in your daily work
- Team spirit, reliability, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
Occasional travel to France or Belgium may be required.
