What you will do:
ENGIE’s Global Business Support (GBS) brings together nearly 2,000 employees across several countries and entities, working in a coordinated manner to provide top-tier efficient and compliant business support to ENGIE’s Business Units and Corporate functions.
Amongst others, GBS includes a Procurement department, which mainly covers management of supplier master data (MSP), source 2 contract (S2C), procure to request (P2R), which are our 3 core areas of operational expertise.
As we continuously transform ourselves to maintain the highest levels of compliance, to reach new highs in efficiency & to ensure top customer & supplier satisfaction on our operational delivery, as a Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating this transformation ensuring timely delivery of projects, continuous networking with our operational leaders & outside of GBS (IT, finance, Proc). You will also take the ownership on the lifecycle of some of the key applications that are using ENGIE.
Responsibilities:
- Application lifecycle management:
- You are the owner of a set of applications that are used across the globe by GBS operations, by the buyers & by our suppliers
- You manage the lifecycle from deployment (including business case) to running operations (enhancement, budget management, governance)
- You are the key point of contact for the applications in your scope – you ensure other projects & teams are aware & take into consideration your applications
- You build a strong network to ensure your voice is heard & your ideas are understood.
- You also use this network in & out of GBS to gather continuous improvement ideas & always align with process leads & experts to ensure ‘’fit’’ on an overall core model approach
- Procurement Project management:
- Transformation is key for ENGIE success – GBS is currently undergoing major changes that impacts processes, people & technology – you will be part of this transformation, acting as point of contact for the GBS Procurement related initiatives
- You partner & align with the process & IT teams as well as other teams outside of GBS to ensure this transformation is a success – spanning from business case tracking, project steps follow up, workshops
- You are supported by a team of external consultants to help you drive this transformation
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Your ability to deliver projects on time & on budget
- Your skills to ensure a smooth & silent transformation are driven successfully
- Change management & relationship management is the key for your success!
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement or other related fields
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in Procurement project management, ideally in a multinational environment and/or in the context of shared services
- End2end understanding of Account payables (I2P) with Procure 2 Receipt (P2R) is an advantage
- You have demonstrated your capability to lead procurement projects in an international environment – from scratch to success!
- Exposure to Tail spend is appreciated but not mandatory
- Good understanding of Procurement and operational tasks, and awareness of application into a shared service / GBS context
- Acquaintance with procurement systems SAP S4/Hana & Ariba (P2R, S2C) & MDG is preferable
- Knowledge of Procurement tools for various cases such as due diligence, supplier master data management, tail spend management, catalogs, contract lifecycle is an advantage
- Analytical and detail-oriented attitude
- Proactive, problem-solver and solution-oriented mindset
- Customer-oriented and good communication skills
- Escalation handling and process improvement mindset
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- English – advanced (both written and spoken)
