The production AWS Cloud Specialist plays a key role in guaranteeing advanced technological mastery of Cloud services. He/She have also a high responsibility on the availability of the infrastructure as well as the management of the security.
The job is specifically dedicated to management of the operation as well as the deployment of the unitary deployment like VM deployment or PaaS service deployment
She/He have sufficient expertise to supervise the implementation and ensure the quality of the deliverables produced by third parties. He will be able to provide support for the various Engie entities during the go2run processes.
What you will do:
- Security compliance: Maintain security compliance according to Engie Group security policies.
- Availability: Always guarantee the availability of the infrastructure.
- Support: Advise and assist entities/BUs in their Cloud-related activities, while sharing in-depth expertise.
- Continuous improvements: Contribute to the safety, cost optimization, performance and availability of the platforms.
- Industrialization and standardization: Implement the ENGIE Group standards and ensure the compliance of these standards
- Supervision and monitoring: Manage, monitor and operate existing infrastructures, identify and resolve technical problems
- Documentation: Write technical and operating documentation.
- Automation and CI/CD : Help set up automation and continuous integration/deployment processes.
- Automatization of the processus: Use tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible or Jenkins to automate infrastructure deployment and management
Desired education, expertise, and skills:
- 4 – 10 years of experience in cloud technologies
- A good understanding of the fundamentals of AWS services is required, including S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, RDS, and VPC
- Certification : AWS Solution architect associate - Mandatory
- A good understanding of the container orchestration on AWS (ECS, EKS)
- Operating System skills : Linux or Windows, scripting (Powershell, Python, bash), Group Policy
- Network skills : DNS, security group
- Tooling DevOps : Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Cloud Formation, JIRA;
- Serverless architecture : Web/microservices conteners, API rest
- Databricks tools;
- Dataiku;
- Code and tools : Python, API Gateway;
- Databases : PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL server and Oracle;
- Monitoring tools : Grafana, CloudWatch;
- Documentation update : MS Office (word, ppt, visio), drawio;
- Processes: strong knowledge and experience in the use of production processes, traceability and auditability of interventions and actions carried out;
- ITSM tooling : Service Now;
- Fluent in English (B2 level, spoken and written);
- French language skills (B2 level) are a plus.

- Ability to work in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
Other information:
- On-call duty and intervention during non-working hours are mandatory (one week of on-call per month)
- Service hours: fixed hours of presence to maintain a service slot (9am to 6pm – Paris time).
