Context:

Within the IS Expertise Center (EC IS), the GEMS IS Helpdesk provides comprehensive support to approximately 2,000 users across France and Belgium, encompassing L1 to L4 support levels. For its workstation experts’ team, we are looking for a seasoned IT Team Lead. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in workstation support, along with exceptional project management abilities.

Role:

• Management of the Digital team (about 10 people, permanents and contractors).
• Define the role and responsibilities within the team.
• Coordination and management of the relationship with the RISK Expertise Center
• Budget Management and follow-up.
• Small/medium project management: define suitable project organization, communication, functional and technical architecture proposal.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and process optimization.

Hard skills:

• Strong financial knowledge (pricing, risk & PnL), ideally on commodities or energy products.
• Technical savviness in the Digital space (web portals, data processing, automation, …)
• Good knowledge of technical and applicative architecture.

Soft skills:

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information, project updates, and procedures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and external clients.
• Ability to listen actively, gather requirements, and understand the needs of different stakeholders.

Education and professional background:

• The candidate should have a master's degree and relevant experience in the IT field
• Experience in a trading or similar fast-paced, demanding environment is a plus

Languages:

• Fluent in French
• Proficient in English

Travels:

• Occasional travels between Brussels and Paris
