Context: 

Within the Human Resources Department of the Global Energy Management & Sales BU of the Engie Group, you will join the Talent team as a "Learning & Development Specialist" on a permanent contract in Belgium. 

The Talent team is staffed by 8 people bilocalized between Paris & Brussels. 

 

We are in charge of 3 main activities within the team :

- Talent Acquisition: in charge of recruitment 

- Talent Management : in charge of developing talent support programs 

- Learning & Development : in charge of proposing training and development programs for all employees

 

Your role: 

As part of our team, you will play a central role in the Talent team. As a Learning & development Specialist, you will be involved in various missions: 

 

Learning & Development :

 

  • Lead the overall development plan for the GEMS Belgium scope: identification, planning, execution... including operational support : purchase orders, contact employees, monitor training files, receive documents and close sessions.
  • Develop the necessary expertise within the L&D field and stay abreast of new trends and market offers. You create a network of external international suppliers who could support us with the creation of new global learning initiatives.
  • Support the data and reporting activities for the different stakeholders, including budget.
  • Measure the effectiveness and quality of the learning solutions and communicate the results to the management, the client and the HR community
  • Embody the link between GEMS and the Engie Belgium learning team to find synergies and set-up collaboration  (learning offer, events, ….)
  • Follow the latest updates on the BE legislation (employment deal) with regard to the training plan and the obligations we have towards the social partners, employees and government

 

Cross-functional projects or missions (illustrative, according to need): 

 

  • Animate workshops and create a new format of learning with topics that meet the business needs
  • GEMS onboarding events : you are in charge of the co-construction of the GEMS onboarding event
  • Recruitment of VIEs : Participate in the recruitment process by drafting job offers, conducting interviews and working with the hiring managers for VIEs positions
  • Employer branding and integration: Contribute to projects to design and implement strategies to position Engie & GEMS as one of the most attractive employers on the market; 

 

Hard skills: 

  • Competence in Human Resources, knowledge of the training market and Belgian regulations. 
  • Interest in creating didactic and attractive presentations. 
  • Have a strong appetite for digital transformation and be interested in discovering new tools. 

 

Soft skills: 

  • Be proactive, well-organized and able to work with different subjects and priorities. 
  • Dynamic, committed and results-oriented. 
  • Autonomous and responsible for the projects given. 
  • Ability to manage several training projects at the same time. 
  • Capacity to adapt to a dynamic working environment and to evolve with the company's changing needs. 

 

Education and professional background: 

  • Master degree in Human Resources Management ideally with at least 3 years experience and a strong appetite for Learning & development topcis. 

 

Languages: 

  • Excellent written and oral command of English and Dutch, good knowledge of French
