EMS (European Maintenance Support  is a part of the ENGIE Group that  carries out  the specialized maintenance works and renovation projects on the power plants in Belgium and spread throughout Europe (mainly Netherlands and France).

 

Within our Boiler/BOP team (= focus on large industrial boilers, fans and pumps) we would like to welcome a  Lead Field Technician Pumps and Fans!

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE as Lead Field Technician Pumps and Fans:

 

  • You will be responsible for the complete organization, from A to Z of the work assigned to you.
  • During preparation:
    • take care of writing and tendering specifications, among other things.
    • you are in charge of purchasing spare parts
    • You participate in the scheduling and quality plan
    • you are responsible for preparing the safety plan.
  • During project implementation:
    • You monitor the worksite in terms of progress, quality and safety.
    • determine, together with the engineers, the best repair for damage found.
  • Upon finalization of the project
    • you are responsible for the budget
    • You ensure final reporting of works to further manage the machinery.
  • You are Single Point Of Contact for your site and communicate effectively with all parties involved: collegues (technicians, experts, operations,... ) and subcontractors.

YOUR PROFILE as Lead Field Technician Pumps and Fans:

 

  • You can have a technical degree (Mechanics / Electromechanics) and you have relevant experience within rotating equipment (turbines, pumps, fans, compressors) in an industrial environment.
  • You are a natural leader : you possess organizational skills, autonomy and affective communication.
  • You are proficient in NL or French at a professional level, knowledge of English is a plus.
  • You have a strong safety and environmental awareness; you constantly look out for the safety of yourself as well as your colleagues.
  • Finally, you are mobile and flexible: you are willing to travel (daily - depending on the location of sites) to all ENGIE sites: from Ghent, to Antwerpen, to BergenIn addition, you are willing to travel maximum 30% of your time outside of Belgium.

    • a basic salary that is indexed monthly and supplemented by various premiums depending on the work regime (shift premium), the place where you work (mobility premium) and the number of overtime hours worked (overtime premium and compensation through leave days).
    • Annual salary increase in January according to energy sector scales
    • Annual double vacation pay, collective bonus and year-end bonus
    • 20 leave days + 13 ADV days + all days to compensate for overtime worked.
