The Business Area Global Power is one of the 5 Business Area’s within Tractebel ENGIE. This Business Area aims to grow its business by offering its customers and prospects attractive, competitive and innovative solutions in energy in the widest possible range.  

Within Global Power, the Power Systems department delivers consultancy and engineering services for planning, design and operation of power systems and mastering grid integration of key assets for the energy transition of our clients.  


  • You are responsible for the submission of attractive and innovating tenders and awarding new contracts. You understand clients’ needs and translate them in the right strategy to build a winning tender: price setting, selection of most suitable partners, propose the right project team etc... 

  • You work in a team assigned to the tender preparation (technical bid managers, sales assistant, technical lead) and you interact with internal (legal, tax, HR,…) and external stakeholders (client, partners, subcontractors…) while challenging the price, scope and planning of the tender and managing risks and opportunities. 

  • After tender submission, you keep track of our tender and are responsible until final negotiation and contract signature. Once projects are awarded, you organize a hand over to the project manager. 

  • As part of the sales team, you establish and update on a regular basis the market strategy and business plan to meet our sales target (business booked, hit rates…). You propose and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of our sales effort. 

  • You support the Business Developers in identifying new opportunities and you give them a return of experience in terms of won/lost tenders, collaboration with partners, market price… 

  • You will handle a diversified client portfolio, government, industrials, project developers, TSO/DSO,… mainly located in Africa and in Europe.  


  • You have excellent communication skills, are quality driven and operate in a customer-focused way; 

  • You are a team player, are not afraid to propose innovative solutions and have negotiating skills; 

  • You have an excellent knowledge of French and English, knowledge of Dutch is an asset; 

  • You have a great capacity for multicultural human relations, analysis and synthesis; 

  • You have a Master in Engineering (or equivalent), with minimum 5 years’ e xperience of professional seniority 

  • You are rigorous, well organized and good at planning simultaneous assignments; 

  • You are capable to work under stress and with short delays.
