The Business Entity Belgium is one of the geographical business entities within Tractebel ENGIE.

In this Business Entity, the Business Line Energy aims to grow its business by offering its customers and prospects attractive, competitive and innovative offers in energy in the widest possible range.

The Business Line Energy is responsible for engineering and consultancy services related to the development and realisation of sustainable energy generation projects in  thermal power, transmission & distribution networks, renewable energies (onshore and offshore), hydrogen and natural gas infrastructure. These projects go from the pre-feasibility studies up to final commissioning of the installations, covering feasibility, basic design, detailed design, procurement and on-site construction follow-up. All over the world.

We are looking for new colleagues to reinforce our Sales & Operations Team










As part of the Global Power Sales Team, you will be in charge of assisting all commercial activities required for an optimized management and development of the client portfolio, in order to achieve the targeted sales budget, while respecting the quality norms and the company strategy.

Your support to the commercial and sales operations organization could be as well related to the identification and follow-up on new sales opportunities (support the Business Development activities) as well as to technical/financial and administrative support with regards to pricing and offers preparation (support the tendering activities).

Here below some of the main tasks:

  • Tender preparation and prequalification files: You work on the complete process from identification of the commercial opportunity until the Contract signature, such as :
    • Collect data related to the request for quotation and the bid plan.
    • Analyze the Request for Quotation documents.
    • Identify and organize the different activities to be performed during bid preparation (administrative, commercial, technical).
    • Coordinate the preparation of the offer/prequalification file and support the decision on an optimized pricing, bid setup and bid strategy to maximize probability of award.
  • Depending on the complexity of the tender / prequalification file to be prepared, you lead the sales process or you support the Manager in charge of the file. A technical expert is always designated to develop the technical methodology of the file.
  • Perform administrative aspects related to business development, marketing and sales (e.g. keep CRM up-to-date, help organize marketing events, meetings, campaigns, …). Contribute to keep the website, references and curriculum vitae up-to-date. Manage & follow up contract signature process, dispatch and archive. You assist Sales Managers during all the tender process: establishment of the offers or pre-qualifications, review, dispatch, archiving. You perform tasks in all operations to the product: development of the marketing tools, external and internal communication, updating website, updating database.
  • Embed QHSE principles in all contracts/projects with clients. Raise awareness about the importance of QHSE and apply Ethics & governance policies and principles.






  • You hold a Master's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Engineering from an accredited university + minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably with involvement in the project management or bid management
  • You have unwavering attachment to ethical business practices and sustainability
  • You are familiar and comfortable with the use of key software and digital trends (e.g. SalesForce).    
  • You are fluent in English; fluency in Dutch, French or German is a plus
  • You have an overall technical knowledge in one of the business domains of energy generation
  • You possess an excellent knowledge of MS-OFFICE tools
  • You possess good communication skills, commercial flair, creativity and a high sense of confidentiality and are rigorous with attention to details
  • You are autonomous and proactive and capable of organizing yourself in order to meet strict targets in the respect of imposed deadlines.
