The working environment


You will join the Business Development & Sales Team of the Business Stream SMR & International and report to the Business Development & Sales Director. The main mission of the team is to develop and commercialize worldwide the global services in Nuclear and in the field of Small Modular Reactors. You will take a key role in achieving our ambition to boost our internationalization and diversification.



Your function


  • You participate in the Sales activities (prospecting, bidding, negotiating…) of the Nuclear Entity on the international market, targeting new clients and ensuring sustainable growth of the business with our regular customers. You participate in the diversification of our activities in all nuclear applications and in particular in the SMR field;
  • You are responsible for the promotion of services and the development of our business in a dedicated geographical or product area, working jointly with our Business Managers;  
  • You are responsible for offer preparation, offer submission and commercial negotiation up to contract signature. You prepare the offer jointly with the concerned Product Manager and a Technical Bid Manager;
  • You are responsible for or participate to prospection activities;
  • You ensure market watch and effective interaction with the Tractebel regional offices of the target countries / products assigned to you;
  • You take care of the contacts with the clients and partners in close collaboration with the Business Managers.


Your profile 


  • You hold a Master’s degree from an accredited engineering and/or business university
  • You have minimum 3+ years of experience in the engineering sector ; an experience in Nuclear is an asset
  • You have experience or a strong interest in sales and/or business development 
  • You have an excellent command of English, and a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French. Knowledge of other languages is welcome.
  • You are good at listening to customers and anticipate their needs.
  • You are a natural communicator (both oral and written) and are able to explain complex topics in understandable language to your different stakeholders.
  • You have strategic thinking and negotiating skills.
  • You are familiar and comfortable with the use of key software and digital trends (e.g. MS-Office, SalesForce).
  • You have the sense of priority. You are good at planning simultaneous assignments and you are a good organizer, even in unexpected circumstances.
  • You are used to work under pressure with strict deliverables, requirements and tight deadlines.
  • You have a great capacity for multicultural human relations.
  • You are a team player, are not afraid to propose innovative solutions.
  • You are willing to travel abroad on short missions.
