The Marketing & Sales (M&S) business unit holds a significant position in the dynamic energy market, providing customized solutions marked by quality and dedicated support to each customer. Operating through commercial subsidiaries and local partnerships, M&S has adapted its working methodology to a comprehensive agile model, organizing autonomous squads into tribes.

 

The primary goals are to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality systems within an integrated landscape, ensuring the effective technical operation of these systems in accordance with customer agreements. Additionally, M&S aims to deliver frameworks that enhance the autonomy of other squads, both customer and business-oriented.

YOUR CHALLENGE as an Integration Architect (M/F/X)

 

  • Create and maintain integration architecture blueprints, patterns, frameworks and principles that facilitate the seamless flow of data and information across diverse systems, applications, and platforms.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, development teams, infrastructure teams and external partners to understand integration requirements, gather technical specifications, and design scalable and secure integration solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on integration technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices. Guide and mentor product squads in implementing effective integration patterns and standards.
  • Create a governance and make sure it is matching the needs of M&S Belux and understood by the integration analysts.
  • Evaluate continuously the integration landscape and make sure it evolves with the company needs.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in integration technologies and tools. Evaluate their potential impact and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance integration capabilities.
  • Analyze business processes and requirements to identify integration points, data transformations, and workflow automation opportunities. Design and document integration solutions that align with business needs and technical constraints.
  • Develop and implement integration solutions using industry-standard integration technologies such as API management, ETL tools, messaging queues, and service-oriented architectures (SOA). Ensure data integrity, security, and reliability in all integration processes.
  • Create and execute test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of integration solutions. Identify and resolve any issues or defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Investigate and resolve complex integration issues, including system failures, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks. Provide timely support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, architectures, and configurations. Generate reports, metrics, and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of integration solutions.

 

YOUR PROFILE as an Integration Architect (M/F/X)

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a Technical Integration Architect or similar role, designing and implementing integration solutions.
  • Fluent in English with an excellent level in French and/or Dutch.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, technologies, and standards, including but not limited to RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, ESB, message queues, event streaming and data transformation techniques.
  • Strong expertise in integration technologies and tools such as IBM ACE, IBM Datapower, Kong API Management or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise integration patterns, API management, and service-oriented architectures.
  • In dept understanding of microservice architectures.
  • Professional certifications in relevant integration technologies or frameworks (e.g., IBM Certified Integration Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect) would be a plus.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms and services such as AWS and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices for integration, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling in an organization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and knowledge of spring framework.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • You have a strong sense of safety and environmental awareness, and you consistently prioritize the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
  • This position might require occasional travelling in the European Business Area.
