Your mission
As Corporate Finance & Tax manager in our BU Tractebel, you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in the overall strategy of Tractebel.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance & Controlling, you’ll contributes to increase the value of the business portfolio of Tractebel, namely through the following missions:
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the Corporate financing of the BU Tractebel
- Lead the BU’s corporate finance and treasury management activities: define and deploy ENGIE's and/or Tractebel’s financial policies in corporate finance and treasury including cash management, financing, hedging, credit exposure and management of bank and parent-company guarantees.
- Lead the processes related to the financing of entities in coordination with the related heads of finance.
- Steer the process of renewal of the insurance program for the BU Tractebel, together with the insurance department and in coordination with the legal department and heads of finance.
- Steer, together with the legal department, the process of creation and dissolution of entities in accordance with the geographical policy
- Lead the monthly cash flow reporting activities.
- Coordinate and manage at BU level the relationship with ENGIE’s Shared Service Centers in Finance.
- Be accountable for the internal controls related to cash management (Fin2)
- Together with the Tax Manager BU in Engie’s tax Department and the Tax community of Practice, Coordinate the tax planning, structuring and optimization activities in the BU, including :
- steering and deployment of Engie’s and Tractebel’s governance rules on taxes, development and animation of the Tax managers community of practice and deployment and control of transfer pricing processes in the BU.
- Be accountable for the internal controls related to tax management (Bus 1,7).
- With the help of team members, animate of the Communities of Practice attached to the role : Cash management community, Guarantees community, Tax community.
We would love to hear from people with
- A Bachelor degree in commercial, economic or management sciences, possibly completed with an MBA, or equivalent
- At least 10 years of relevant international financial experience, preferably in AI&FA and/or Corporate Finance, Project or Structured Finance or alternatively Audit and/or Business Controlling in a leading audit firm or large international corporation
- You have acknowledged leadership, people management & coordination skills
- You master English, and you are preferably proficient in French and/or Dutch (any other additional language being an asset
- In-depth understanding of the business and product portfolio of the BU Tractebel and of the strategy of the ENGIE Group. Strong network within the Group (HQ/BU/GBU/hub) is an asset.
- In-depth understanding of the project structuring in the engineering business
