Your mission
As Contract Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) project for the construction of a state-of-the-art data center in the Mons region. You will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while fostering positive relationships with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Your expertise and collaborative mindset will ensure that contracts are managed efficiently and transparently, contributing to the success of this strategic project.
Your key responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors involved in the data center project.
- Manage and administer all contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, and assist in resolving any issues or disputes.
- Verify and approve subcontractor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments aligned with contract terms and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to contracts, such as disputes, delays, or cost overruns.
- Ensure all contractual activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date contract records, including agreements, amendments, and correspondence.
- Act as the point of contact for contract-related matters, ensuring clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including the project manager, owner, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate closely with legal, finance, and procurement teams to align contract terms with company policies and objectives.
- Monitor contract performance and proactively address any challenges or disputes that may arise.
We would love to hear from people with
- A proven track record in contract management, preferably within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in contract management.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in complex projects.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Fluency English; additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with data center construction or similar technical environments is an advantage.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
