Asset and Performance Reporting Senior Analyst

The performance reporting senior analyst reports and forecasts renewable assets’ (including storages) energy margin through contractual review, understanding of energy markets, renewable assets, commercial strategies, and traded products.
The position is located in Houston, TX and it is eligible to work in many locations across the U.S.and reports to Asset Perf & Reporting Manager.
- Generate Weekly and Monthly P&L reports for renewables assets
- Ensure the accuracy of the reports and analyze key drivers of the energy margin and variance between actual and budget
- Assist in annual budget and monthly best estimate
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the asset contracts including PPAs.
- Interface with Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Risk, Operations, Partnership, Finances, Accounting, Technical Accounting, and other corporate support functions to ensure compliance to different reporting requirements.
- Successfully onboard new assets and develop PnL files to track performance of new assets.
- Manage REC positions and REC transfers
- Work closely with IT and other cross-functional teams to automate reporting
- Identify and implement business process improvements
- Carry out other duties as assigned
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Mathematics preferred
- MBA or other professional qualification a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of financial analysis, modeling experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of energy industry experience, preferably in renewable energy
- Commercial acumen with good understanding of business principles, contracts, and power purchase agreements
- Deadline driven with project management skills for cross-organizational coordination and business process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
- High degree of reliability and strong work ethics
- Detail-oriented and Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of VBA/SQL/Python
- Strong oral and written communication skills

The pay range for this role is: $61,455 - $156,650. The listed salary range represents ENGIE’s good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries across all U.S. locations. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their work location, and additional factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package and certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
