ENGIE Operation and Maintenance Services is responsible for operating and maintaining TAG's gas pipelines, a company acquired by the group in 2020. With the acquisition of TAG, ENGIE became the owner of the largest natural gas transportation network in the country, with 4,500 km crossing 10 states and 191 municipalities.

 

MISSION

To perform mechanical, electrical, predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of machines and equipment, as well as participate in manual field control operations and gas station operations.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out the daily mechanical/electrical maintenance plan in your area of operation, including predictive, preventive, and corrective actions on valves, compression systems, safety systems, pumps, sensors, and other components of the gas pipeline and its facilities, following a schedule defined by the supervisor or as requested;

  • Collect technical data using field instruments and equipment;

  • Participate in maintenance services such as disassembling equipment, inspecting or repairing defects, replacing parts, reassembling, and testing the service performed, in collaboration with Senior Technicians and Supervisors, for training purposes;

  • Assist in the preparation of operational and technical maintenance reports;

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, machines, and equipment used in daily tasks, requesting removal, replacement, or repair of parts and equipment when necessary;

  • Take responsibility for personal and team safety during operations by properly using PPE, tools, and equipment;

  • Act in emergency situations, addressing technical issues such as leaks, operational interruptions, or other problems that may impact the availability of the gas pipeline;

  • Drive corporate utility or passenger vehicles to field work locations, adhering to ENGIE’s driving policy;

  • Act ethically, respectfully, and transparently, embracing and valuing diversity as a strength within the organization.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory:

  • Education: Completion of a technical vocational course;

  • Field of Study: Mechanics, Electronics, Electrical, Electromechanics, or Instrumentation;

  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver’s license, category “B”;

  • Experience: Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, logic control systems, system and instrument programming, remote operation, actuators, solenoids, and other complementary technical courses.

Desirable:

  • Additional training in: Hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, logic control systems, system and instrument programming, remote operations, actuators, solenoids, and other relevant technical courses.
