We are looking for a Site Manager for our projects in Albacete ( Moralejo I and Moralejo II) who, reporting directly to the Project Manager, will be involved in the following activities:
- Implementation of the assigned project based on the elaborated Construction Plan.
- Coordination of the resources assigned for the execution of the works.
- Verification of all H&S Quality and environment aspects related to the execution of the works.
- Processing of the Construction Site Journal on a daily basics.
- Verification of the Work Progress based on the assigned schedule.
- Support coordination of site meetings and processing of the Project Progress Report.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the professional construction of the PV farm/s following quality, time, and budget guidelines, encouraging the Contractors to deliver the project safely and promoting a culture that prioritizes and ensures that H&S is an integral part of all work performed.
- You will be responsible for technical supervision, site organization and operational control, safety, and reporting. As a technical manager, you are the interface between Engineering and Construction.
- You will be on-site during construction being the first point of contact for contractors and third parties.
- You will control the progress reports, composing daily, weekly, and monthly ones, and the executed works so that they also conform to the plans and agreements made.
- You will take action to deal and mitigate with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the construction site.
- You will perform tests to ensure conformity between the quality of work and specifications.
- You will also lead and actively participate in regular work meetings and other stakeholder consultation moments.
- You will oversee the process all the way to commissioning and CoD, with the finality of handover to our Asset Management and O&M teams, ensuring project documentation requirements are met for the handover of projects upon completion.
- You will ensure the compliance and enforce compliance of personnel under your charge with current legal regulations as well as internal rules and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions in PV farm construction.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for constructing and operating renewable assets in Spain.
- Knowledge of PV industry best practices, standards, and related Spanish legislation.
- Knowledge of Construction phases within renewable projects, cost estimating, and budget forecasts.
- Office software, MS Project Planner
- Fluent in English and Spanish
