Job Purpose:

Management of the day to day operation of the area, ensuring that all maintenance employees are deployed effectively. Manage the logistics within the area ensuring the maintenance is carried out to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish an effective organization through the designing and implementing of a fit for purpose structure, adequate manpower, develop and implement systems to motivate manpower through training programs, incentives and recognition schemes for outstanding performance.
  • Develop, guide, direct, motivate and manage the performance of all direct reports in line with the Performance Management System to assist in the realization of their potential and to enhance their knowledge-based skills.
  • Assist the Key Account Manager in managing the project in a professional manner in order to achieve a sustained positive image.
  •  Provide a hands on leadership style, responsible for creating a customer focused culture that is based on delivering results, transparency and trust, whilst building organizational capability and empowerment.
  • Analyze the training requirements of employees within the area managed, and arrange for relevant training to take place
  • Develop, implement, and communicate improved processes, policies and procedures on a continuous basis, always seeking greater efficiencies and higher customer satisfaction.
  • Maximize communication and synergy between the Site Supervisors.
  • Organize and attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the development of consistent standards in quality working and behavior.
  • Give assistance to MGIVIT for extra works SOQ and works follow up.
  • Conduct Site surveys as required prior to preparing BOQ.
  • Develop and identify business development opportunities wherever possible.
  • Has full authority over the staffs reporting to them.
  • Authorized to approve Purchase requests raised by the team leaders or ores if it is related to their trade operations.
  • Authorized to take any decisions on maintenance activities performed on site if the same is in line with the company & site policies & Procedures.
  • Authorized to call & discuss business related issues with his counterparts in client side namely the Mechanical services manager, electrical services manager or ELV manager for the smooth operations.
  • Authorized to pre-approve or reject any leave requests from his teams.
  • Authorized to take any decisions on executing the Preventive maintenance, Corrective maintenance, Reactive maintenance to achieve the set targets and contractual KPI's.
  • Authorized to control, monitor & liaise with any specialist subcontractors engaged by Cf3FM towards the contractual service delivery corresponding to their trade operations.  

 

 

 

 

 

Skills Required:

  • Vast technical knowledge in carpentry works.
  • Vast technical knowledge in painting works.
  • Vast technical knowledge in mason works.
  • Vast technical knowledge in glass works.
  • Vast technical knowledge in door hardware & shutters.
  • Good experience in fit out works and making commercial offers.
  • Practical hands-on experience in these systems is an absolute must.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Problem solving and good trouble shooting capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English is essential.
  • High level of customer orientation / understanding.
  • Experience in using and following up operations with CAFM system.
  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel is required for reporting.
  • Knowledge of the local supplier market.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree - Civil

  • 5-8 years' experience in a facilities management company
  • Exposure to a multicultural environment
