Your mission

As Principal Resident Engineer (PRE) – Substations in our Electrical Grids department, you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in the delivery of high-voltage GIS substation and cable projects in the UAE.

Your key responsibilities

• Take overall project supervision and site-based construction/commissioning management responsibility for 400kV/220kV/132kV GIS substations and associated cable works.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders including the client, EPC contractors, statutory bodies, and third-party consultants.
• Lead on-site progress monitoring, cost control, and change order coordination to support project milestones.
• Conduct effective progress reviews and reporting to ensure transparent and accurate project documentation and communication.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience, with a strong background in EHV substation and cable projects in the UAE
• Prior TRANSCO approval (preferred)
