KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan and drive the overall construction progress to meet milestones and/or handover dates to authorities, to initiate inspections and achieve RI, TOP and RFS dates.
- Lead the project team and ensure project completion within the set budget, schedule and conformance with the contract documents and compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability guidelines.
- Proactive coordination between CSA and MEP services on room space, delivery path, riser openings, wall and louvre opening sizes etc. Raise RFI if in doubts, seek clearance form consultants.
- Input into and develop a logistics and delivery plan that allows the contractors to complete their work in a coordinated, efficient manner under the project managers directive
- Establish regularly scheduled meetings with contractors to review the following: shop drawing preparation / approval, equipment / material lead times and required onsite dates, manpower projections, quality / performance issues onsite, prepare meeting minutes,
- Conduct regular meetings to review project progress
- Liaise with Safety Manager in the development of a safety plan
- Prepare detailed, accurate timely report including work schedule, implementations, deviations, change in subcontractors, client issues and other related problems.
- Initiate and implement best practices, procedures and standard in compliance with company policy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Other relevant education, training or work experience may substitute for Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree.
- Should possess at least 8 years construction managements experience
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards
- Excellent time management ability
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
