At ENGIE, we're helping to build a smarter, more sustainable energy future. As the UK accelerates its journey towards net zero, flexible energy solutions are playing a vital role in supporting the electricity system and creating value for customers.
We're looking for a collaborative and curious individual to join our growing flexibility team. Whether your experience comes from portfolio management, operations, product development, energy markets, or a similar field, this is an opportunity to develop your expertise while making a real impact.
In this role, you'll help manage a diverse portfolio of flexible energy assets while contributing to the development of innovative services and solutions. You'll work with colleagues across technical, commercial, and operational teams to deliver value for customers and support the continued growth of our flexibility offering.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the operational performance and successful delivery of ENGIE's flexibility portfolio.
- Monitoring portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping to resolve issues effectively.
- Helping to ensure compliance with Capacity Market requirements and industry obligations.
- Collaborating with internal teams, customers, and external partners to deliver excellent service.
- Using customer feedback and market insights to help shape future products and service enhancements.
- Supporting the onboarding of new assets and customers into the portfolio.
- Contributing to ENGIE's market offering by identifying opportunities, sharing ideas, and helping improve processes.
- Keeping up to date with developments across the energy sector and supporting the team's response to industry change.

We know that great candidates don't always tick every box. If you're excited by the role and believe you can make a positive contribution, we'd love to hear from you.
What you will bring to the role
- Experience in energy, utilities, technology, operations, product development, customer success, project delivery, or a related environment is desirable.
- Experience working within the UK Capacity Market and engaging with industry bodies such as NESO, DNOs, DSOs, and Ofgem is desirable, however we will consider candidates with a strong aptitude to acquire knowledge in this area.
- An interest in energy flexibility, energy markets, or the transition to a low-carbon energy system.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
- Confident in analysing information and using data to support decision-making.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- A degree in a relevant discipline is desirable; equivalent professional experience and alternative career pathways are equally welcome.
Why join ENGIE?
- Work on meaningful projects that support the UK's energy transition.
- Gain exposure across operations, product development, commercial activities, and energy markets.
- Join a supportive and collaborative team where different perspectives are valued.
- Access opportunities for learning, development, and career progression.
- Enjoy flexible hybrid working that supports work-life balance.
- Be part of a growing business with opportunities to develop and shape your career journey.
- Contribute ideas and make a visible impact from day one.
