Distrigaz Sud Rețele is a leader in natural gas distribution in Romania, with 51 years of expertise in this field, serving 2,323,728 customers, operating approximately 24,483 km of network, and employing 3,019 people.

Distrigaz Sud Rețele operates the natural gas distribution network in 1,398 localities, across 20 counties in southern and central Romania: Argeș, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Ialomița, Ilfov, Olt, Prahova, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vrancea, Teleorman, as well as in Bucharest Municipality.

We are looking for a Junior Buyer who wants to make a tangible impact by securing the best materials, equipment, and services that keep our operations running. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your analytical mindset and negotiation skills will directly contribute to operational excellence and cost efficiency across our network activities.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the full procurement cycle from request intake through contract signature and ongoing contract monitoring, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements;
• Conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify optimal suppliers, evaluate technical and financial offers and recommend the best procurement approach for each category;
• Organize and lead procurement procedures including document preparation, eligibility assessments, evaluation reports, financial offer analysis and negotiation sessions;
• Execute public procurement processes through official systems, collaborating with Buyers and Senior Buyers based on complexity;
• Administer supplier contracts by acting as the interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, tracking delivery timelines, budgets and quality standards;
• Drive annual supplier evaluations, report non-conformities, and propose corrective action plans in coordination with internal clients;
• Prepare savings calculations using Group methodologies, report results in U-SAVE, and produce benchmark analyses and procurement status reports.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as economics, engineering or law;
• Minimum 6 months of experience in procurement, supply chain or supplier relationship management;
• Good communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders;
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail when evaluating offers and managing contracts;
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and SAP MM module;
• Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines autonomously.
