ENGIE Fabricom Offshore Wind, located in Hoboken, is looking for a Substation Platform Coordinator. Are you GWO trained/able to (or willing to learn to?) & travel OFFSHORE? The Offshore Wind Services Team in Hoboken organizes all Offshore warranty activities and services on offshore substations after T&I for Offshore commissioning & Warranty cases. The platform is the single point of contact for specific substations.


Your mission

  • you are able to travel offshore (B/NL/D/UK/F) for specific tasks
  • coordination:
    • receive judge defect notifications
    • analyzes defect notifications
    • communicates acceptance/rejection, based on investigation with clients
    • coordinates subcontractors, including subcontractors warranty obligations
    • coordinates offshore interventions, with all knowledge of offshore restrictions
    • execution of offshore works.
    • technical preparation:
      • collect technical documentation like mechanical drawings or electric wiring diagrams relevant for a specific intervention
      • analyzes this documentation
      • able to analyze root cause of defects/punch items and propose corrective action
      • change existing documentation for the required task
      • make red markings for As Built drawings
      • prepare method statements for electrical or mechanical works
      • prepare the risk analysis
      • establish materials/spare parts list
      • establish tool list
      • establish work planning, coordinate with planners
      • arrange logistics for men & material (in collaboration with central logistics and planner)
  • costing: collect & follow up on all cost information:
    • collect supplier offers or cost estimations
    • cost follow-up during execution
    • basic cost reporting
  • work execution follow-up:
    • collect, correct & analyze activity reports
    • establish progress report
Your profile
  • you have a technical degree preferably in electrics and/or automation
  • Offshore trained (GWO) or willing to
  • you have knowledge of MS Office tools: Excel, Word, MS Project, Outlook
  • knowledge of English is required
  • you are organized, with a strong affinity with administrative processes
  • you are analytical
  • you are flexible
  • you are open minded
  • you are creative
