Within the Global Business Services Department of ENGIE, the Business Support Consulting/ENGIE Consulting assists transformation projects of the Group throughout its business activities and its entities. The internal consulting teams are involved with the BUs and functional departments in many areas; development of new activities or offers, customer relationship management, governance and organisation, operational excellence, innovation and digital. To support its development, ENGIE Consulting, under the managerial authority of GBS, is seeking a: Senior Internal Consulting Manager (M/F) (position mainly based in Belgium - Brussels). Reporting to the Director of Consulting and working as part of the team of internal consultants, you will be involved in consulting assignments on various topics and environments.

Your mission
  • manage the contractual and commercial relationship with one or more customers
  • play an important role as a partner/advisor to your customer
  • leverage your expertise to develop several offers specifically in the field of Marketing & Sales, Innovation
  • take charge of ENGIE Consulting's engagement in one or more missions: 
    • align customer needs and value-added proposition with proven consulting methods and approaches
    • identify and allocate worksites according to the required skills
    • manage joint teams of internal and/or external consultants and customer operational resources
    • manage all stakeholders
    • ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with deadlines
  • provide an HR dimension of " Role Model " (facilitation and coaching skills) for consultants
  • manage certain projects that are integral to the team's life and development

Your profile

  • higher education, (engineering school, business school, or equivalent in university,...), you have at least 20 years of professional experience, with significant experience in a transformation programme and/or experience in a management consulting firm
  • expertise or knowledge on topics such as: innovation, digital, development of new businesses, post-merger integration, lean management, CRM, will be valuable assets in your application
  • your ability to develop and deliver a Business Development offer should mean that we can delegate to you the management of internal development issues within the Consulting Services Line. You are inquisitive, independent and have good listening skills, you are known for your open-mindedness, your ability to deliver a high level of communication to managers, and to work with people from diverse backgrounds and skills
  • you also have proven successful experience in coaching teams on assignments
  • accustomed to demanding, complex and international environments, you are valued for your fluency in oral and written communication and your keen sense of formalisation. A knowledge of consulting methodologies is required
  • mastery of English (both spoken and written) and of office tools is a prerequisite
  • lastly, your customer orientation and your ability to learn and advance with the team, your supervisors and our internal customers are some of the conditions for success in the job
  • short-term and medium-term travel is expected
