The Nuclear “Métier” is looking for a "Nuclear Development Manager - Operations & Maintenance" (m/f), able to manage transversally with specific experience in nuclear Operations & Maintenance and Radwaste Management who will report to the Head of Operational readiness, Radwaste and Decommissioning.


Your mission

  • develop Nuclear Métier positioning as Advisor, Project Developer and Nuclear Operator, to serve Nuclear New Build players for Operational Readiness. In particular coordinate or support the development of the future nuclear operators, the definition of the operational readiness plan, the formulation of maintenance strategies, the estimates of O&M costs and resources, the development of HR plans (resources and training)
  • contribute to the assessment, coordination of a multi-entities integrated nuclear development initiative related to Radwaste Management and Decommissioning
  • the Nuclear Development Manager (Operations & Maintenance) also contributes to:
    • developing partnerships with large nuclear companies
    • guiding BUs to develop Nuclear Services
    • sharing nuclear know how capitalized by the Group
    • updating nuclear strategy
  • internal interfaces:
    • the Nuclear Development Manager - Operations & Maintenance will report to the Head of Operational readiness, Radwaste and Decommissioning
    • you will interact with the other functions of the DOP, especially, the Head of New Build Services & Partnerships, and business developers in the Business Units, especially Tractebel
  • external interfaces:
    • you will interact with international stakeholders, partners and clients
Your profile
  • you have a Master of Science in Engineering. An additional degree in Nuclear, H&S or Management matters is an advantage
  • you have at least 10 years’ experience in nuclear, profound experience in Operation, & Maintenance, and good knowledge of radioactive waste management, nuclear safety and radioprotection
  • you have a good communication with colleagues and team spirit
  • you are autonomous and familiar with parallel task handling
  • you have interpersonal skills and you are able to work in a multicultural environment
  • experience in and understanding of the whole nuclear industry value chain
  • 5 key competences:
    • Management of Operation & Maintenance, preferably for NPP
    • Nuclear Engineering and Radioactive Waste Management
    • Project Management and Business Development
    • transversal coordination and management skills
    • fluent in English and French or Dutch. German constitute assets
