Who are we?

European Maintenance Support, based in Linkebeek (BE) and Zwolle (NL), is responsible for maintaining turbines, alternators, high-voltage installations, and power station boilers. Our specialised technicians and engineers work on our customers’ installations both inside and outside Europe. We offer a wide range of services, ranging from specific maintenance expertise to turnkey maintenance solutions.

Now, thanks to expansion, European Maintenance Support is looking for a Mechanical Field Engineer with lots of expertise in gas and steam turbines.

The job of Mechancial Field Engineer.

As a Mechanical Field Engineer, you have to organise, coordinate and carry out maintenance on industrial gas and steam turbines. Your duties may vary, depending on the type of project you are assigned to:

  • Mechanical work on turbines and generators, as well as electrical inspections of generators.

  • Leading a team of mechanical engineers, consisting of internal colleagues and external contractors.

  • Supporting the project leader with project management at different phases (definition, preparation, implementation and consolidation)


Your profile


You have a Bachelor’s in Mechanics/Electromechanics,  Experience in maintaining gas and steam turbines is a major advantage.  You have strong analytical and communication skills, but above all you are a true team player. You speak English fluently, and you have a good knowledge of French and/or Dutch. Finally, you are flexible and mobile. You are willing to work shifts and weekends, and you are willing to spend around 35% of your working time abroad on mainly short assignments.
