Context:
Within the GEMS, Business Unit the Business Platform APAC is managing and developing the group’s trading activities for the APAC region.
In order to pursue its development, GEMS is developing and rolling out various projects across regional offices such as Australia, Japan, India.
Role:
GEMS APAC is looking for a VIE IS SAP B1 Officer, to improve the reliability of the existing systems, and support the development of the new systems. The role is based in Singapore. It requires many interactions with the teams in Europe and external vendors.
As a member of the APAC IS team in Singapore, the VIE IS SAP B1 Officer is also expected to contribute to the cohesion of the IT team.
Missions:
1. Delivery management/ Product management
- Assign ticket and follow up on ticket with different dev teams and stakeholders
- Perform NRT before releases
- Roll out in testing and production environment change and development
- Enrich the backlog of problems (source of recurring incidents), including description, impact/recurrence/priority…
- Self-learning on Finance related functions within group
- Share improvement ideas with Business Analyst
2. Enhancement/Project implementation
- SAP enhancement and configurations
- SAP Crystal Reports design and implementation of business templates
- SAP user feed-backs on system and share it with development/vendor team
- Work closely and collaboratively in a team environment with the project’s stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
3. Production support
- Process (analyze, solve, document) incidents.
- Coordinate resolution actions with Vendors/Paris teams when necessary (for instance SAP vendors or Engie HQ IT teams)
- Actively participate in the writing or enhancement of operational procedures for SAP B1(in link with the monitoring alerts)
- Follow up on weekly IT releases and adapt monitoring tools and procedures
Education & Professional Background:
- University degree in IT Engineering or Mathematics.
- A first relevant experience in IT Finance environment.
- Basic experience and knowledge about accounting and/or settlements-related processes. Trading or front-office is a plus.
Hard skills:
Good understanding of SAP Business One/SAP HANA on core modules.
- Experience in managing ERP projects or B1IF(B1 Integration Framework)/JSON development
- Experience in MS-SQL Server or/and Crystal Reports form development.
- Good knowledge on SQL, scripting skills, XML/XSLT.
- Good knowledge on Webservices/Rest API.
- Good troubleshooting skills find out root cause of issue and provide valuable suggestions to resolve the problem.
- Basic knowledge on Java.
